I come from the Central Florida area originally
and like most |
|
| artists, I began to draw at a
young age. During my teen years, however, I gave up on drawing as I became
frustrated with my inability to obtain realism in my artwork. I started
to draw again during my late high school years and rekindled the love I
had for creating art which has not faltered since. I briefly attended the
University of Central Florida before transferring to the Savannah College
of Art in Design in 2002 where I really discovered my artistic voice with
the help of new friends and a fantastic faculty. In 2007, I graduated from
the Savannah College of Art and Design with a MFA in Sequential Art. (I
also received my BFA in Sequential Art there as well.) |

I personally strive to create artworks and comics
that enrich and |
|
|
brighten the viewer's (reader's) life. I like
to think of my artwork as that little ray of sunshine whimiscal cuteness
in an otherwise cloudy and stressed-out world. It is my mission to never
allow that child-like amusement and imagination to die out in the world.
